From Jagged Little Pill To Havoc And Bright Lights

I used to be like this. . .

I do admit that I still listen to this fuming album from start to finish everytime  angst and my alter ego is confronting me and it gives me temporary relief, an imaginary outlet to release the fire in me and be back to my normal self again after breathing it out.

But recently, I chose to be like this. . .

Mellow. Healed. Just like Alanis, I found myself striking the right balance between my angry past and enlightened present.

Allow me to end this post with a quote from a dear friend of mine:  “As we grow up, we don’t lose friends. We just learn who the real ones are.

The Essence

Last Friday, I was dragged by my boss to join her for a friendly dinner with our Singaporean client and her new beau at Nara Thai Cuisine at Eight Thonglor along with my other colleague Som.

In the middle of our dinner, came in all of a sudden a topic that most people would avoid: A-G-E. Most people but our client. She asked me if how young am I. So I told her to guess as I always does with anyone who asks the same, common question. Try not to raise your eyebrows or roll your eyes clockwise and counter-clockwise as she smilingly said I’m not more than 30.

Once again, I felt somewhat ecstatic. She was automatically been added to my list of countless number of honestpeople who told me that I’m younger than my current age. Ha-ha-ha!

Mukha pa ba nga akong nasa late 20’s??? Check out the pic below taken exactly a week ago when my Pinoy Mafia Group and I decided for a lunch picnic at Lumpini Park. I’m hoping to hear good feedback from you people so be generous, ok? ;P Otherwise, I will feed you to the monitor lizards freely strolling around the lawn and climbing up the trees of Lumpini Park, chai mai Kawadjan?

Happy Sunday y’all!

Promise of a New Day

Jump!

Fly!

It’s a great new day filled with exciting surprises!  As this blog just turned two years yesterday, promise that this blogger will do at his very best to give you more. I’m grateful, I’m blessed. Good thoughts and absolute vibes is what I just really feel today, for some reason.

Perhaps due to this party that I’m attending today for a very good friend, Rexona Gomorrah, who is celebrating his 9,000th day of existence in this planet. He promised to have exciting games awaiting for all of us invited guests and that according to his FB invitation description that: “The lucky winners are sure to go home happy & satisfied.” With that and the overflowing red wines & imported cheese that he always specially prepare for us, I immediately responded “Attending” to his invitation even if I have zero knowledge of his guest list as it remained “private” for the host’s eyes only.

To Rexona: wishing you nothing but the absolute happiness and that what you’ve been longing for will be granted real soon. Pixie dusts to you & to us as what Ate Norly says yesterday *_^

Here’s something for you to tuck in your pocket. . .

More. . .

Just in case you are wondering who is he, his name is Lewis Cassidy. Again, I’m sure you’ll ask me if he is half-Caucasian, half-something my answer is “could be” as seen in his features. What I can only tell are his stats—Height: 6’1.5″/Waist: 32″/Hair: Dark Brown/Eyes: Hazel

More of him, much daring & colorful in my next post…promise!
