Cyndi Lauper Will Bring More FUN in the Philippines!

January 2012 Issue of PULP Magazine with my Patron A Ticket

The Girl Who Just Want To Have FUN is surely bringing MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES with her She Bop-ping comeback concert gig in Manila this March 17, 2012 at Smart Araneta Coliseum! Presented by PULP Live Productions, the Pop Empress is revisiting Filipinas after 23 years.

What a perfect Time After Time-ing because when the news spread out, I was in Manila for my holiday season vacay. To my excitement, there were times where I can’t literally sleep All Through The Night thinking when the tickets will be ready. At Last! Tickets became available by sometime Dec. 23 according to the event promoter, Pulp Live so this piece of good news made a Hole In My Heart and immediately blogged about it!

However, due to my hectic schedule, I was only able to purchase 2 Patron A tickets for myself and my friend last Jan. 03 and made sure that our seats are located in the middle aisle even though the available nearest Row at that time was “F” but nevertheless, my I Drove All Nightrush to Smart Araneta Coliseum was worth it. But I do really suggest for those of you who haven’t purchased your tickets yet to go and buy now if you still want to get the nearest seats or otherwise you’ll scream, “It’s Good Enough For Me…yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!” a la Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough.

So see you all there in your True Colors and see What’s Going On that night and…never for a moment think of having a Change Of Heart as this event only happens once in a blue moon! You miss this, you’ll miss one-half of your life! Set Your Hearts and enjoy jammin’ Into The Nightlife with the legendary Ms. CYNDI LAUPER !!! ;P

As a die-hard Cynister, I also did a few rounds of inspection pertaining to promotional collateral of her concert. Here’s what I found. . .

It’s More Fun In Pinas!

Mister International 2011 Finalist and Mister Internet Popularity: Mister Philippines Fhrancis Oliver Lopez

Mabuhay! Guilty as charged, I know that I’ve been away for a month to be with my family + acquaint with my long-time no-see pals + reunite with my long lost classmates in elementary, high school and college + meet up new very interesting people + hook up with some + ironing a few business deals + travel to some FUNTABULOUS places in my own country that I’ve been dying to visit ever since + my super excitement & fascination with the upcoming concert of idol & pop diva Cyndi Lauper in Manila = this long neglected blog.

And do believe me if I say that as much as I want to share with you a lot of things especially my memorable EXPERIENCES that time, unfortunately, I’m Wi-Fi-less in Manila! My sis-in-law (as always) lend me her Smart Bro stick so I can go online but only after one time use, I couldn’t connect anymore. So pardon me. This long vackay only happens to me once in a blurblue moon.

Coincidentally during my stay, the Department of Tourism launched its new global campaign: “It’s More Fun In The Philippines.” And what a timing indeed it was. For the first time in my “no-need-to-mention-age-of-mine”, I was able to visit Tagaytay and sight the majestic Taal Volcano. I went with two elder sisters and my sis-in-law who drove for us the whole day. Leaving very wee hours from our home, we went for FUN “mountain climbing” at People’s Park In The Sky. Foggy and very chilly, ’twas a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here’s a sample souvenir pic with my sisters interpolating the newly launched infamous tagline, “It’s More Fun In The Philippines”. . .

Unsuccessful to view the volcano from this peak due to massive fog even though it’s already nearly twelve noon, we decided to chance it at Picnic Grove after our zesty lunch in the most famous and arguably most delicious bulalohan in Tagaytay. . .

With the help from the antique Pentax Porro-prism binoculars that we inherited from our Japanese grandmother, we were able to catch the close-up view of the crater. In fact, we even saw people boating and sailing around the lake using it. Once again, I incorporated the tagline in my souvenir photo with the World’s Smallest Volcano. . .

More fun blogging soon \\{“,}//

Resurrected!

Like a phoenix who just hibernated from a fire, I’m resurrected! Yes, I’m not yet dead! B-) Hehehe…it’s just that I’ve been really held up with our recently concluded Bangkok-Chiangmai familiarization trip for a group of potential buyers which includes accommodations at various 5-star hotels such as: Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong (2 Nights), Shangrila Hotel Chiangmai (1 Night), 6-star & luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Dhara Dhevi Chiangmai (1 Night & Farewell Dinner at Le Grand Lanna) and Le Meridien Chiangmai (1 Night). Aside from that, food galore from other various 5-star hotels both in Bangkok & Chiangmai were also mandatory in our program that includes: lunch at Four Seasons Bangkok, Noon Tea complete with “tailor-made” massage at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Cocktails at Latitude and Dinner at Pier 59 (of course at the 59th floor!) of Banyan Tree Bangkok, lunch at Four Seasons Chiangmai and brunch at Le Meridien Chiangmai…haaaaaaay! Now that’s what you call…LIFE!

Oh, and did I forget to mention the Klong (Canal) Tour in Bangkok, lunch at Supatra River House & infotaining Thai culture activities & dinner we had at Rose Garden? Then of course, there’s the Elephant Camp trip where we witnessed how equally talented these elephants are as with humans & then a marvelous dinner with Yi Peng (lantern balloon) floating at Ban Suan in Chiangmai.

Now that you know my reasons, may I be excused from my long blogging absence and resume with my “explosive, tender, juicy” entries for you…soon!? Thanks a lot guys! (“,) Ciao for now!

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that we also had a superb breakfast by the river on the lovely terrace-garden of The Peninsula Bangkok…here’s the pic…
