Mighty Aphrodite: Kylie Minogue Live in Bangkok!

International pop phenomenon Kylie Minogue has announced the South East Asian dates for her “Aphrodite Live” 2011 World Tour. Kylie’s fans will see her performing in Bangkok on June 25th.  Kylie has been touring since February this year and has been receiving some of the best reviews of her career with “The Telegraph” in the UK declaring, “Kylie Minogue is not just a pop star any more, she is a veritable goddess’ whilst the “Irish Independent” raved, “It is unlikely you will see a more lavish event this year.” The “Washington Post” in the US gushed, “It was a show of epic proportions. With eight costume changes and a stage fit for a disco queen. She, like her audience, was there to promote only one agenda: having a good time.”

With her latest “Aphrodite” album a global smash, and the singles including “All the Lovers” and “Get Out Of My Way” ruling charts and dance floors worldwide, pop icon Kylie returns to Bangkok with her spectacular show: “Scotch Forever Young and Singha Corporation Present Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite 2011 Live in Bangkok” in co-operation with Bangkok Bank and Coke Zero. The spectacular show will take place on Saturday 25 June, at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani and is a show not to be missed!

Kylie commented, “Touring Aphrodite has been an absolute joy.  I could not have hoped for more; the band, dancers, choreography and costumes have come together like a dream.  For me the most important element is always the audience and I’m delighted that I am going to have the opportunity to perform for my fans in South East Asia.  I look forward to seeing you all soon.”

“Aphrodite” was released in July 2010 and became Kylie’s fifth #1 album in the UK, hitting the top spot a full 22 years to the week since her debut album Kylie entered the chart.  The album also made Kylie the first solo artist in the history of the UK charts to have a #1 album in four different decades.  Around the globe “Aphrodite” debuted in the top ten in 13 different countries.

Over the course of her extraordinary 20-plus-year-career, Kylie Minogue has been a global force in pop music and is one of the world’s most successful female artists with more than 60 million albums sold worldwide, 50 hit singles including chart-toppers “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” “Love At First Sight,” “Slow,” and the Grammy-Award winning “Come Into My World.”  She has received countless awards and accolades including an OBE from the Queen, performed nine sold-out world tours including her current Aphrodite tour which will travel to 27 countries throughout Europe, Australia, Asia and South Africa.
