Thanks Manila Bulletin For The Mention!; Charice’s Highest Billboard Hot 100 Songs

My interview with Charice which was published here last July 28, 2010 was used as a reference in an article issued by Manila Bulletin last July 30, 2010…with my name being mentioned a few times. At least with Manila Bulletin, they have the decency to refer back my name as the blogger who interviewed Charice on her quick stint in Bangkok compared to that one showbiz site who plagiarized my article whose the author make a living by ripping off / stealing from somebody else’s work. Anyway, my special thanks to Manila Bulletin once more for your responsible journalism…kudos and all respect to you too!

Speaking of Charice, our “it” divette returns to Billboard Hot 100 chart this time with two higher charting songs courtesy of her debut appearance at “Glee”: “Telephone” duet with Lea Michele at #23 spot and #11 at Billboard Digital Song chart which also skyrocketed to the iTunes Top 10 chart with over 102,000 paid downloads in its first week.

“Listen” on the other hand debuted at #38 in the Hot 100 chart of Billboard outranking Beyonce’s version which charted only at #61. At Billboard Digital Song chart, Charice‘s version debuted at #19.

In Japan, Charice’s album has been certified Gold while her “Pyramid” charted in UK at #17, UK Download Chart at #19 and #5 at UK R&B Chart.

With all these glories that Charice is receiving right now, every Filipino must be proud of her more & more with an indication that there’s no stopping Charice now from chasing that dream that she always wanted. Keep up the good work and stay humble gurl!!!
